As a solution to temporary or permanent drawing problems (e.g. down draught, wind eddies), we recommend to install a draught stabilizer. It regulates and reduces the excess draught The stabilizer should be the same size as the fitted flue. The stabilizer should be at the end of a horizontal branch of approx. 100mm. The stabilizer should be fitted in the same room as the stove installation. The flue stabilizer should be fitted no closer than 700mm to the flue outlet of the stove. When a flue draught stabilizer is used, the total free air area should be 300mm2 for each kW/hr of rated output to 5kW. The free air area above 5kW should be 850mm2.
