Stabilizer

As a solution to temporary or permanent drawing problems (e.g. down draught, wind eddies), we recommend to install a draught stabilizer. It regulates and reduces the excess draught

  • The stabilizer should be the same size as the fitted flue.
  • The stabilizer should be at the end of a horizontal branch of approx. 100mm.
  • The stabilizer should be fitted in the same room as the stove installation.
  • The flue stabilizer should be fitted no closer than 700mm to the flue outlet of the stove.
  • When a flue draught stabilizer is used, the total free air area should be 300mm2 for each kW/hr of rated output to 5kW. The free air area above 5kW should be 850mm2.
